Greet is a satirical concept created for Deceit, an art project about the patterns of manipulation in institutional technology. There is no real church product behind this page. Nothing entered on this site — signup, checkout, or the chat widget — is stored or sent anywhere outside this browser tab.

Sends automated "greet one another" messages to church members. jake built this because he read "greet one another with a holy kiss." jake remembers it as "greet one another with a holy text." jake built a text greeter. jake misremembered the verse. jake always misremembers the verse. jake's greeter sends texts. the texts say "hello brother" and "hello sister." jake's own server gets the texts. the 11 bots get the texts. the bots don't reply. jake thinks they're shy. jake is sincere. jake is wrong. jake is always sincere and always wrong.
